Book Your Free 30 Minute Discovery Call
Unsure if coaching is right for you? Let's talk.
A discovery call is a no-obligation, confidential conversation to explore your goals and see whether coaching is the right fit. We'll discuss where you are, where you want to be, and how coaching can help you get there — and you'll leave the call with something useful whether or not we work together.
What to expect on the call
A conversation, not a sales pitch
Thirty minutes, entirely confidential, with no obligation to go any further. Most people arrive with a half-formed thought about their career and leave with it far more clearly defined.
Where you are now
We start with the situation as it actually is — the promotion that hasn't happened, the partnership conversation that keeps being deferred, the team that isn't performing, or the sense that you are working harder than ever for diminishing returns.
Where you want to be
We then look forward: the role, the reputation, the level of influence or the balance you want in twelve to twenty-four months, and what genuinely stands between you and it.
Whether coaching is the right answer
Coaching is not right for everyone or for every moment. If I don't think I'm the right person to help, I'll say so and, where I can, point you somewhere more useful.
Common questions
Who do you usually work with?
Associates and senior associates on the route to partnership, partners in UK and global law firms, and corporate leaders at VP, functional-head and C-suite level. Many clients are lawyers; many are not.
How are sessions delivered?
Sessions run for 90 minutes, either by video or in person in London, and are usually spaced two to four weeks apart over a six to twelve month engagement. Everything discussed remains strictly confidential.
Can my firm or employer pay?
Yes. Many engagements are funded by the firm or organisation, either as part of a leadership development budget or in support of a specific promotion or transition. I can provide a proposal and invoicing to suit your internal process.
What happens after the discovery call?
If we both feel it's a good fit, I'll set out a proposed structure, number of sessions and fee. There is no pressure to decide on the call itself.
